Welcome to the UM-Flint MCard Portal!
The MCard is your official University of Michigan identification card. You'll use it all over campus to identify yourself as a member of the university community. The UMID number is the cardholder's eight digit student number or employee number. The MCard has many uses from building access to use as an ATM/debit card! Please explore this website for additional information.
Who is this system for?
The system allows for staff, faculty, and students to:
- Submit their MCard photos for approval digitally.
- Request a new MCard if their MCard was lost (fee associated) or stolen (free).
What are the MCard photo requirements?
- Face forward: No hands or arms touching face.
- A head shot: Shoulders and above.
- Background: Plain and light colored.
- In Color: No black and white or sepia.
- In-focus: with your image clear and sharp.
- Recent Photo: take with six months.
- No Accessories: hats, bandanas, sunglasses, etc.
Lost and stolen MCards
If your MCard was lost or stolen, you can request a replacement MCard.
